Phase 1 is mind-fucks. Rain is terrified by the sound of his terrifying taser. She is covered in a black hood, so she only knows that she sometimes feels the whip and that she sometimes hears the sound that haunts nightmares. She is so scared of the shocks, she is actually thanking him for the lashes.
Phase 2 is full of real fucks. Rain was wrong to think that being stripped of her gadgets, guns and other weapons was the most humiliating thing an agent could do in the field. He will then take her clothes apart, and then remove every last bit of her dignity.
