This case involved 50 hungry leeches. I can only say that i am so glad that it was over and that all 51 of us survived. This was my most difficult shoot. I was submerged in cold water (yes, COLD), and was left completely alone and at the mercy the frisky, bloodthirsty creatures. It was one of few times that I felt truly scared in a scene. Although I knew the scene was safe, I couldn't help but think about the fact that a leech doesn't have safewording. Those little buggers aren't a mess. Guess where they went? Straight for the crotch! I could only wail through my airway and try not panic as the microscopic teeth poked through my soft tissues. It was...um...sad (I know, stupid joke). It was a crazy, intense shoot that hopefully produced some good results. I think the leeches are happy!
